Urban Engineering Help York School To Bike It!

Leading exterior furniture designers and manufacturers Urban Engineering has continued their close relationship with the Sustrans team, by working together on an exciting project at Our Lady's Roman Catholic School in York.

With the aim of encouraging school children to cycle to school through Sustrans BikeIt! initiative, Urban Engineering has installed a total of 5 secure cycle shelters all with sliding, lockable gates in a project worth in excess of £17,000.

Sustrans in conjunction with the school provided Urban Engineering with a brief for a logo that was to be displayed on the end panels of the shelters. Urban Engineering then designed and printed the logo onto vinyl.

Sustrans and the school were so impressed with the outcome of the project they held an opening ceremony attended by the local press.
